| I now live in Tampa and have for twenty years. I am married to Emory. I have two children, Bill McTeer and Christi Cross. I am proud to say I have two wonderful grandchildren, Brenna (12) and Connor (6). Brenna plays on a traveling volleyball club team six months out of the year and Connor plays little league football and baseball so they keep me busy. They both are honor students also which makes me proud. I retired about two years ago so that I can be a part of my grandchildren's life and I am enjoying it greatly. I won't be able to attend the reunion because Brenna is playing in a volleyball tournament in Denver and we travel with her. I would love to see everyone but since I can't be there I would love to hear from anyone reading this, expecially my classmates. | |||

| I attended Haines City Jr. high in 1952 - 1954. After the 8th grade I moved with my family to Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela. Since there were no schools in Puerto Ordaz, My brother Howard and I went to a private high school in North Carolina until we both graduated in 1958 and 1959. I went on to East Tennessee State University and while there, married and had twin daughters before graduation. Upon graduation I went to work for Burlington Industries and lived in a number of textile towns in N.C. Durung that time I had a son, born in Rockingham N.C. Burlington eventually sent me to their new operation in Frosinone Italy for four years. Returned and eventually left Burlington rather than move to the headquarters in New Jersey. Went to work with J&J in Gainesville, GA for 5 years and left them rather than move to New Jersey. Was CFO with a high tech computer operation in Atlanta for 11 years and then went to the National office of the Arthritis Foundation in Atlanta as CFO for 9 years. Retired and have been enjoying life very much since. | |||

| I graduated in 1963 from a school in Ohio but attended school in the Haines City/Davenport area from 6th thru 10th grades. I have lived in Florida, Ohio and Georgia. I have been back in Florida since October 2004. I have a 28 year old son. My fondest school memories are my years in Florida. | |||

| What a good place to be raised, HC in '40 and '50's. It's been a really good life because of that foundation: 29 years Director-Teacher-Family Counselor of 2 Christian Ed. Ctrs., on Bd of Ed for 8, and have just been hired to teach Interpersonal Relations in local college. Gerald and I will celebrate our 50th anniv anniversary this June. My Mother who will be 96 in February attended Haines City High School and presently lives at Savannah Court. There were 4 of us in the class of 1950 that went through all 12 grades together. | |||

| Hell'o all HORNETS !! I'm looking forward to visiting with the classes from 1948 through 1966. It seems like I was in school that long! What a special privilege to grow up with all the football teams from that era. I couldn't have asked for a better father and coach. I'm sure he will be there in spirit. My mother, Virginia Mathias Stangry, (class of '40) will be there. Some of you men will remember her from the orange juice at halftime. I still have about 40 cans of football film and more pictures than you would believe. I have every football team from 1926 to 1970, and alot of baseball/track/basketball pictures. Wish there was a place to preserve them. I'm really looking forward to being with the class of '66 one more time!! | |||
